Overview
These transom-mounted tunnels are meticulously designed to enhance the performance of the thruster. The optimal radius of the tunnel edges allow high effiency with minimal water flow disturbance and thus minimal noise.
Manufactured in fiberglass, they are extremely strong and durable. The complete installation is very easy and meets the high Sleipner standards. The additional cowls make it possible to allow a stern thruster installation in boats with shallow draft or obstructions on the stern. Cowls are sold separately. To insure the high quality associated with all Sleipner products, the stern thruster kits are produced at our fibreglass factory Bjesta Plast AB in norhtern Sweden.
